These terms govern bookings made through AllyGate.io between guests and hosts, as well as the platform's service fees.
Scope
They apply to any accommodation booking concluded on the platform. The accommodation service is provided by the host; AllyGate.io provides the matching and payment-collection service.
Booking process
A booking is confirmed according to the listing's mode (instant booking or host approval). The booking status is driven by payment events and cannot be changed unilaterally by the guest.
Prices and service fees
Prices are set by the host. AllyGate.io charges a service fee, calculated and displayed before confirmation. All amounts are calculated server-side and expressed in the destination's currency.
Payment
Payment is handled by a secure payment provider. Section to be finalised when the payment module is implemented and to be reviewed by a lawyer.
Cancellation and refund
Cancellation terms depend on the policy chosen by the host for the listing (flexible, moderate, strict). The refunded amount is calculated according to that policy and the cancellation date.
Obligations of the parties
The host undertakes to provide accommodation matching the listing. The guest undertakes to comply with the house rules and to pay the amounts due. Details to be reviewed by a lawyer.
Consumer mediation
To be completed by a lawyer: the consumer mediation scheme applicable depending on the consumer's jurisdiction.
Governing law
To be completed by a lawyer: governing law and competent jurisdiction, adapted to each market.
